I am a retired professional baseball player who played from 2000-2012. I started my playing career as a 3rd round draft pick by the Houston Astros out of high school and finished my career in Japan. Although I played professionally for 13 years my passion is as a student and coach of the game of baseball. I have been coaching since 1998 doing individual instruction, coaching teams, camps and clinics. I have experience working with children as early as 3 years old and men as old as 60. I was a player coach for 2 years professionally and have coached in the PBL from 2012 to 2016 and won a championship in 2013. I have been on the coaching staff for the BC Select team twice, once in 2016 as a pitching coach winning a silver medal and once in 2018 as the assistant coach. I have been the head coach of the zone 6 BC summer Games team in 2016 and 2018 and won a silver medal in 2016.

I have a bachelor of science in psychology and a master of science in kinesiology with a published thesis on the prediction of success of batters using a portable EEG device. I love talking baseball and welcome conversation and questions from anyone. I look forward to talking with you.
