One baseball per pair of athletes.
Gloves
In partners, position players 6-10 feet apart.
The feeder holds the ball in one hand straight out in front. The infielder moves his throwing foot in the direction of the baseball.
The feeder moves the ball from one side to another while the infielder follows the ball leading with their throwing leg at all times.
Establish three positions with the baseball: center, left, and right. Clearly position the ball to one of these three locations.
Increase the speed of the drill
Move from right side directly to the left side, skipping the center. This increases the range of movement.
