The entire team is placed in their defensive positions.
The base runner starts at home plate waiting for the coach to hit the ball into the outfield. (Video 1) (Video 2) (Video 3)
The base runner makes a read rounding first base whether or not to head to second base.
The outfielders make the play to second base.
The baserunners should error on the side of being thrown out at second base.
They will begin to understand what is a double and what is not.
