Have the player line-up facing the coach approximately 10 to 15 feet away.
The player runs around the cone directly to one side.
The coach tosses the ball into the air leading the player further to one side.
The player must continue of move their feet and field the ball between their shoulders, not reaching for the ball.
The ball is tossed back to the coach on completion of the drill.
Have the players start slowly for the first couple of times gradually increasing the speed of execution.
Increase the distance of the tosses gradually to promote the footwork, completion of the toss does not have to be made all the time.
