Objective

  • Create bat control by hitting the baseball anywhere in the field.

Equipment

  • Baseballs
  • Bat
  • Helmets
  • Bases
  • Gloves

Description

  • The entire team must be in their defensive positions. One hitter lobs the ball up to their self and swings the bat.
  • The defensive players make the play on the batted ball, throwing the runner out where appropriate.

Tips

  • Make the hitter go the other way.
  • The players will usually want to pull the ball, causing a roll over to the short stop for fight handed hitters.
