Gain quick hands through proper hip and shoulder movements

Give players an opportunity to practice receiving the ball to the side of their body for a quicker transfer to the throwing position.
Equipment
Gloves
1-2 Baseballs
Cones
Description
Position players into two lines approximately 20 feet apart. As the ball is approaching, next player in line moves their feet to get into a throwing position.
Player receives the ball, circles hands, transfers the ball from the glove to throwing hand and releases to the next player in line as quickly as possible.
Each ball must travel to the end and back twice. The first team to accomplish this wins.
If a ball is misplayed, it must return to the player who threw it before it can go to the next player in line (see video 2).
Tips
Emphasize to players to throw the ball to the middle of their partner's chest.
