Objective

  • To teach the players the proper contact position when the arms are extended towards the baseball

Equipment

  • Baseballs 10-15)
  • Swing Away with Tee
  • Jugs Instant Screen

Description

  • Place the baseball on the tee and set up to the ball as you would in a game situation.
  • Holding the net as the bat, complete a swing passing over the baseball.
  • The baseball should enter the net; replace the baseball back on top of the tee.

Tips

  • Make sure the players are completing full and aggressive swings.
