I'm from La Vega, Dominican Republic, currently reside in Calgary, Canada.
I started my professional playing career with the Oakland A's in 1995 and finished playing in 2010 with the Calgary Vipers, then by the end of 2010 I started coaching for the New York Yankees.
My wife is from Calgary and we have three awesome kids, two boys and a girl.
