Dave has been a head coach with the KW Predators Volleyball Club since 2013. He has coached age groups between 10U to 17U and has also held coaching positions with club, university, provincial and national teams.
He was the head coach of the Wilfrid Laurier University Women's Volleyball Program from 2000/01 - 2006/07 and was named CIS (now USports) Women's Volleyball Coach of the Year and OUA Women’s Volleyball Coach of the Year in the 2001/2002 season. In 2002 Dave was named Wilfrid Laurier University Coach of the Year. In 2001-2002 he was also an Assistant Coach with the Junior National Women's Team where the team toured Sweden and Denmark in 2001 and participated in the NORCECA Championships in Puerto Rico in 2002. Between 1996/1997 – 1999/2000 Dave was the Assistant Coach at Wilfrid Laurier University.
Dave also gained experience at the Provincial level when he was named an assistant coach with Team Ontario in 2003 and 2004.
Between 1997 and 1999 Dave was a Head Coach with Waterloo Tigers Volleyball Club.
