Give middle infiedlers practice at fielding balls hit to them and turning double plays.

Description
Position players in two lines on either side of the bag.
After each play, players place the balls in a pile to the side (there is no need for players to throw the ball in this drill since they are primarily working on footwork).
Coach should work feeds to the shortstop (Video 1), then switch to the second baseman (Video 2).
Tips
Hitting the balls with a fungo is not mandatory, this drill is just as effective if a coach throws/rolls the balls to the palyers.
