Objective
- To teach players to catch fly balls that are in the sun.
- This drill must be done on a sunny day
Equipment
- Baseballs (6 - 8).
- Glove
- Fungo
Description
- Toss the baseball, or hit fly balls into the air.
- The outfielders should be facing the coach as well as the sun.
- The players should shield their eyes with their gloves while tracking the ball.
Tips
The players should try and shift to one side or the other to avoid looking directly into the sun
